Brain Dead Brewery,

we like name.

We created these ads for free (basically) as a favor, and the brewery went out of business before they had a chance to run them which is super sad. Despite that, I have to share because this campaign has a special place in my heart. To simulate a kind of inebriation, we brought in these non-actors and had them simply read the script cold, one line at a time, off of a projected keynote presentation including slides of stage direction. The results still have me lightly obsessed with the possibilities of creative tele-prompting. It was also super important that our play on the the brewery’s name “Brain Dead” wasn’t offensive to anyone, so we conducted some interviews to be sure and we were in the clear.
