In 2012, I joined forces with a programmer to make an app that turns chores into a game. Which was great. And it performed really well. And then we got tired of keeping up with the never-ending iOS updates. Those updates are a little aggressive.

This was an all-consuming passion. Only two people doing all of the UX, graphic design, illustration, programing, testing promoting. This project will forever be a reminder of what’s possible with two passionate people and some time to think.
We relished the idea of giving every screen maximum creative attention so that we could keep kids engaged. But it was the functionality Nathan and I planned that won parents over. Our dedication to user-testing and extensive UX iterations led to an app that had moms and dads writing us to say that this app helped transform their kids into chore-doing maniacs.
